Our Mission

Salut Wine Bar is a contemporary wine bar and retailer created within a former Oddbins unit in Manchester.

GLM have once again teamed up with Manchester based interior design firm NC Studios formerly known as NoChintz with the ambition to transform a redundant retail space into a stylish and commercially effective venue, offering customers 42 different world wines by the glass and over 200 bottles to purchase. The project needed to support the client’s first major milestone: opening the doors and bringing a new hospitality concept to life.

GLM was brought in by Manchester-based interior design firm NC Studios. GLM guided the project through statutory consent, including additional requirements around signage and licensing. A key part of the project was inserting a mezzanine floor, which doubled covers and made better use of the space. Drawing on experience of adapting and reusing existing buildings, GLM turned a retail unit into a viable hospitality venue.

Salut Wine Bar was successfully transformed into a distinctive contemporary wine bar and retailer.

The project gave a redundant building a new commercial purpose, increased capacity through the mezzanine level and helped a new business take its first step into the Manchester hospitality market.
