Our Mission

Creating a home at Randolph Crescent, situated in the heart of Edinburgh's Moray Estate.

Our client purchased a main door flat situated in the renowned Moray Estate, Edinburgh. The property is Category A listed, and within the New Town Conservation Area.

The property was in good condition, but did not feel like ‘home’ to our client, and so, GLM were given the brief to alter the property to suit the needs of the owners and create more comfortable spaces. As such, we reduced the bedrooms from four to two, allowing for bigger spaces to live in and enjoy.

Significant internal alterations were undertaken to maximise the space. A new entrance space, study, and formation of master bedroom with en-suite and dressing area were added to the ground floor.

The renovations were undertaken by main contractor True Build.

On the lower ground floor the space was reconfigured to create an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, which opens out to the garden. The garden space was carefully designed by Lynn Hill Garden Design whilst the internal work was being carried out. The result is a garden area that outflows from the kitchen, perfect for all day dining, and bringing a sense of the outdoors, indoors.
