Following the success of The Fountain Bar which opened in May 2012, GLM were asked by The Shilling Group to project manage the transformation another Edinburgh pub (formerly Maclachlans in Canonmills). For this project GLM again mobilised the successful

team of NoChintz (interior design specialists) and Prime Property Ventures (contractors). No Chintz excelled themselves with some clever upcycling of light fittings, furniture and mirrors along with eye-catching wallpaper covered in beer mats.

In eight weeks of creative activity the project transformed a dull and dingy pub into a contemporary, eclectic and quirky space that is already proving highly popular.
