Abernethy Outdoor Centre

The Abernethy Centre is a high quality residential outdoor activity centre situated in the village of Nethybridge in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The centre caters for schools and church groups as well as family activity holidays. The management team engaged GLM to undertake a feasibility study to add a further 40-50 bed spaces, as well as a meeting room and staff accommodation. GLM designed a large scale extension, forming a courtyard between the existing buildings whilst also creating a bold, contemporary and dynamic statement about the Centre.
