Abbey Gate Studios

Discipline: Architecture, Design
Location: Edinburgh

Our Mission

GLM were commissioned to provide design services, ensuring the development of an old not-in-use hall, transforming it into exquisite short-term accommodation.

Abbey Gate Studios is a remarkable development nestled in the same footprint of an old disused hall, now transformed into a collection of 11 exquisite studio apartments.

At the heart of this endeavour, GLM proudly provided comprehensive design services, ensuring that every facet of the development was meticulously planned and executed.

From inception to completion, GLM took on the crucial role of contract administration, meticulously overseeing the construction process, which was run by True Build.

With diligent monitoring and stringent quality control measures, we ensured that the project stayed on track.

Abbey Gate Studios not only offers a haven of stylish living but also enjoys a prime location, situated in close proximity to all the wonders that Edinburgh City Centre has to offer.

Whether you’re in need of a brief escape or a prolonged retreat, Abbey Mount Studios is poised to set new standards of excellence in short-term accommodation.
