Taylor Shortlisted for Chartered Architectural Technologist of the Year
GLM’s Taylor Davison Shortlisted for Prestigious Chartered Architectural Technologist of the Year Award
Taylor Davison, a Chartered Architectural Technologist, has been shortlisted as a Finalist for the Chartered Architectural Technologist (AT) of the Year award. Taylor was nominated by colleagues at GLM with support and testimonials from clients, colleagues and consultants. The nomination reflected on Taylor’s positive impact and influence on projects, fellow professionals & consultants, and those she mentors.
The prestigious Chartered AT of the Year is awarded at The AT Awards, a specific industry event for Architectural Technology professionals. The awards recognise outstanding achievement in the discipline of Architectural Technology. On Taylor being shortlisted for the award, Managing Director of GLM, David Johnson said “I am absolutely delighted that Taylor has been shortlisted for this prestigious award and we are looking forward to our trip to London for the ceremony. Regardless of the final result, Taylor is a highly valued, respected and appreciated member of our team at GLM and to us, she will always be a winner!”
Taylor has worked with multi-disciplinary practice, GLM, for three years. She joined the practice as an architectural technologist with a passion for architectural conservation and historic buildings. Whilst working at GLM, Taylor was supported to achieve her professional accreditation and in 2023 became Chartered, earning her MCIAT status. During the time Taylor has worked at GLM she has demonstrated a commitment to technical excellence, professionalism and personal development.
On being nominated for the award, and finding out she has been shortlisted, Taylor said “I was shocked to see the email from CIAT congratulating me for being shortlisted for Chartered AT of the Year. I had no idea that my colleagues had nominated me for the award. I am very grateful to them for pulling together the submission and to everyone who contributed by providing testimonials. It was lovely to read what everyone said and is a great motivator to keep working hard and supporting my junior colleagues where I can.”

Next for Taylor will be the finalist’s ceremony on Friday 26th September at the One Marylebone in London. Members of the GLM team will attend with Taylor to celebrate her incredible achievement and wait in anticipation for the Chartered Architectural Technologist of the Year to be announced!
