Marketing & Communications Executive

Position Overview

As Marketing & Communications Executive you will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategies that enhance the visibility and growth of the Company. This role focuses on maintaining the position of the firm, fostering client relationships to increase market share and generate new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Planning: Assist the Marketing Director in the development of comprehensive marketing plans that align with the Company’s goals and target market needs.

Business Development: Identify prospective clients and opportunities, undertake research, pre-qualify Leads, setup meetings and maintain the company’s CRM.

Brand Management: Maintain and develop our brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

Digital Marketing: Maintain and develop our online presence, including website and social media, creating content to enhance engagement and expand outreach. Responsible for performance digital marketing through engagement and search.

Content Creation: Produce compelling marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, case studies, and project showcases to highlight the Company’s expertise.

Proposal and Bid Management: Assist the preparation of proposals and bids for potential clients, ensuring they are professionally presented and aligned with client needs. Maintain and manage a library of templates and case studies to support bid preparation.

Market Research: Analyse the market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and identify growth areas.

Networking & Events: Coordinate and participate in networking events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance professional relationships and promote the Company’s services.

Internal Training and Communication: Conduct training sessions for staff to support individual marketing efforts. Support technical staff with materials and guidance on promoting the Company.

Community Engagement: Coordinate engagement with charity partner, The Polar Academy, and lead initiatives that promote the Company’s commitment to sustainability and local community projects.

This role is critical in driving the growth and success of our business. It will build upon the experience you have gained in other similar roles. It will also require continued personal and professional development which the Company will support.

  • Strong understanding of marketing and communication.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Lightroom.

This role would suit an individual with a marketing, business administration or communications related Degree who has gained at least two years post qualification experience in industry, commerce or professional services.  A full, clean UK driver’s licence is essential.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
