Contractor required for The Cabin, Rosemarkie.

The Cabin, Rosemarkie is a former railway signal box awaiting a new lease of life.

GLM is looking for a highly skilled building contractor to enter into a negotiated contract with the owners for the construction phase of this project. In doing so, bringing their vision for a high quality holiday retreat to life and creating years of enjoyment for this property on the Black Isle.

The vision for the Cabin is to create a greater sense of space within the property, therefore, there will be internal reconfiguration works and modernisation of kitchen and bathroom. The refurbishment works will also require:

  • Insulation of walls, floor and ceiling
  • Reroofing with profile metal sheeting
  • New exterior timber cladding
  • Replacement windows
  • Decoration and new floor coverings
  • Innovative furniture solutions to maximise space
