GLM WELCOMES NEW RECRUITS TO 2016 TEAM

2016 is off to a flying start with three new staff members joining our growing team. Please welcome David, Gordon and Leigh to the GLM family.

DCDavid Clark, Building Surveyor

David brings immeasurable life experiences and an impressive list of accomplishments to GLM. After spending 22 years in the Royal Air Force as an engineering technician and then taking time off to travel the world, David went on to earn his degree in building surveying from Edinburgh Napier. He spent several years honing his skills with the Scottish Lime Centre before joining GLM to gain exposure to a wider spectrum of building surveying work. As a graduate, he assists the building surveying department on all aspects of GLM’s project, surveying and design work.

Gordon Brown, Part II Architectural Assistant

Always designing, always building, always questioning – Gordon brings a refreshing perspective and approach to the GLM architectural team. An Edinburgh native and graduate of ECA, his work aims to bridge the gap between design and construction. Prior to joining GLM, he gained invaluable on site experience as a construction manager and labourer while simultaneously working towards his qualifications. His varied background and creative disposition make him a perfect fit for GLM’s multi-disciplinary ethos.

LBLeigh Brown, Administrative Assistant

Leigh joins GLM as our reliable and conscientious administrative assistant providing support to and ensuring the smooth running of the office.  An Edinburgh native and graduate of the Royal High School, Leigh has jumped right in to the world of business management eager to further her knowledge of how to run a busy professional practice. Outside of the office Leigh volunteers with Young Scot and is an enthusiastic football fan. She is currently progressing her SVQ in administration with the assistance of GLM’s finance department.
