Ian McKee Welcomes New Members to RICS

It was a special week celebrating the building surveying profession here in Edinburgh as RICS Scotland held its annual New Members Reception for recently qualified building surveyors in Scotland. The event is an opportunity for new members of the RICS to celebrate their new status with family, friends and mentors in the stunning headquarters of RICS Scotland.

GLM’s Managing Director and Chairman of RICS Scotland, Ian McKee, was on hand to present the new members with their diplomas and welcome them to the RICS. It was a particularly special ceremony for GLM as McKee presented diplomas to GLM trained building surveyors Andy Holtby (far right) and Louise Glendinning (far left).

McKee had this to say about the reception: “For me, RICS is all about training, mentoring and creating opportunities for young talent. Louise and Andy join a growing list of graduate trainees presented by GLM for professional assessment who have passed at the first attempt, maintaining our 100% pass record. I am overjoyed and honoured to welcome them into the profession along with all the other new members here today.”
