GLM Welcomes New Faces to Multi-Disciplinary Practice

We are delighted to welcome three new additions to the GLM team. Greg, Euan and David will be key players in some of our most exciting and high profile projects.

Greg brings a wealth of experience to GLM’s building surveying department having worked across the entire spectrum of the profession. He has delivered countless professional and contract projects across a wide variety of sectors and has been brought on board to expand the capabilities of GLM’s building surveying department as GLM continues to grow.

Since gaining his professional accreditation, Greg has been actively involved in promoting the APC and assisting new candidates with their journey through the process. He has completed the RICS Supervisor and Counsellor training and has enrolled as an APC doctor. He has also been interviewed for an online RICS article providing top tips for APC success and was subsequently asked to write an APC related article for the Building Surveying Journal. No doubt he will be indispensable to GLM’s building surveying graduates as they work towards their own accreditation. As a new dad, free time is a luxury, but when he gets a moment to himself, he enjoys getting out on his motorbike in the Borders.

With an accomplished background in the tourism & leisure sector, David will be a key player in GLM’s project management and destination planning activities. He recently returned from the French Alps where he was designing luxury chalets, but this Irish born, Edinburgh university graduate grew up in the Kingdom of Bahrain where the rapidly changing skyline focused his talents from an early age on the challenges of the built environment. David has a particular interest in civic spaces and meeting places where relationships are nurtured and will thus have a critical role in GLM’s development of Scotland’s leading ski resort at Cairngorm Mountain.

His architectural and luxury hospitality experience combined with his determination during the creative process and passion to create and solve problems make him an excellent addition to the team. Away from the office, David is an enthusiastic equestrian and painter.

Having recently graduated from Edinburgh Napier with an honours degree in Interior Architecture, Euan brings exciting new in-house capabilities to GLM’s architecture department.  A designer of great potential, Euan will be working in tandem with GLM’s architects and building surveyors providing design and feasibility studies for our commercial and domestic projects with a focus on the functional use of the interior space. Euan is particularly interested in public interest design, urban planning and urban regeneration. His final project at University focused on how to make the urban environment a more prosperous place through the responsibility of good design.

A creative through and through, Euan is an accomplished photographer and videographer. He’s an artisanal coffee enthusiast and when the weather permits, he likes to go for a refreshing surf off the coast.
