GLM are delighted to continue our support for Rural Scotland as we Headline Sponsor the Helping it Happen Awards 2021

The Helping it Happen Awards, organised by Scottish Land and Estates, seeks to celebrate rural Scotland and those who are helping it thrive through sharing and recognising good news stories from up and down the country,  both big and small.

GLM are delighted to once again be the headline sponsor of these awards as the unusual and challenging times continue, particularly for rural Scotland. The aim of the Helping It Happen awards is to highlight the accomplishments of forward-facing businesses who are making an impact. Whether it’s through providing affordable rural housing, supporting local businesses, or working with schools to support rural skills – the impact of these businesses is to be celebrated and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support this celebration of success.

Ian McKee, Managing Director at GLM, said : “Over the last 12 months we have witnessed the adaptability, capability and patience of businesses and individuals across Rural Scotland. These awards provide a fantastic platform to celebrate this resilience, to inspire others to visit, support and ultimately encourage the activity needed to help the rural economy across Scotland recover.

“Alongside our headline sponsorship we are delighted to be supporting the fully revamped ‘Tourism & Visitor Management’ award category – an area of passion for many of the GLM team in which we have an extensive track record with broad ranging clients so seeing the innovation, determination and successes of businesses in this sector is always particularly exciting!
