GLM Completes Refurb of Bosville Hotel on Skye

After a busy few months on Skye, GLM is wrapping up the first phase of refurbishment of Portree’s Bosville Hotel. In 2014, Perle Hotels, an investment, development and operations group, approached GLM having received word of our extensive experience in refurbishment and adaptive reuse projects in the tourism and leisure sector across Scotland. After purchasing three hotels on the island – recognised as one of Scotland’s premier tourist destination – Perle intends to sensitively upgrade the buildings into world class retreats and reinvigorate Skye’s luxury hotel offering. The Bosville is the first offering in what is expected to be an acclaimed trio of hotels.

Working with one of the country’s leading design houses, Graven Images, GLM provided cost management, project management and contract administration services ensuring that the project was delivered on time and within budget.

Since the Referendum, we have seen a significant upsurge in independent investors eager to build their property portfolios in Scotland’s most remarkable destinations.
