GLM Announces Strategic Partnership with Leading Holiday Brand

We are excited to announce our alliance with Edinburgh based Wigwam Holidays, a market leading alternative holiday brand which provides great holidays in the great outdoors.  As part of our partnership, GLM will be creating a blue print for Wigwam sites, site assessment services and a Planning coordination service.

With over 63 locations UK wide, Wigwam Holidays manufacture and sell glamping pods to customers to run branded Wigwam Holiday sites many of which are established camping or caravan/holiday park sites or farms seeking diversification.  Increasingly, through their franchising scheme, a Wigwam Holidays site can be a compelling business proposition for enterprising individuals with land.

Managing Director Ian McKee conceptualized and coordinated the formal arrangement with Wigwam Holidays Director Charles Gulland and had this to say about the collaboration:

“This partnership will enable Wigwam Holidays to focus on developing their brand and franchise offering secure in the knowledge that GLM will be actively managing the technical services aspects of site design and layout and the sometimes difficult process of obtaining Planning Consent.  We hope in time our partnership will grow so we can bring our Turnkey design, procurement and construction coordination services to this rapidly growing market, making it even easier for enterprising individuals to start an exciting Wigwam Holidays franchise. I’ve known Charles for some years now and we always felt that there was a synergy between our businesses – I’m looking forward to working with him on this exciting new venture.”
