Collaborating with Architects

We are sometimes asked whether we work with other architects.  The answer is a resounding YES.  We enjoy working with other architects and we respect the differing skillsets of other practices.  As building surveyors we are pleased to undertake building surveys as we did at the Highland Tolbooth Church just below Edinburgh Castle with Benjamin Tindall.  Ben went on to transform the building into the much acclaimed “Hub”.  We also did work in support of Ben at Luffness House in East Lothian.

At 77-79 George Street Edinburgh , 113-115 George Street Edinburgh and 100 West Regent Street in Glasgow, we worked with Keppie.

In 2006 we provided a local monitoring service for Zaha Hadid's dramatic Maggies Centre in Kirkcaldy

More recently we have been working with Michael Laird in the preparation of a Historic Scotland grant aided Maintenance Plan for A Listed Arniston House.  Currently, we are collaborting on the preperation of Conservation Statements for Dalkeith Corn Exchange and Raeburn Place Sports Ground, in addition to carrying out building surveys of British Waterways historic buildings.

Currently we are working with Malcolm Fraser Architects at Lews Castle on the Island of Lewis.   We are always pleased to bring to a project, where appropriate, our building conservation, building surveying and/or project management skills.  Contact David Gibbon for more information.
