Mary Erskine School Campus
Brief and Response
As a result of a selection process of various consultants, GLM were appointed by the Board of Governors of ESMGC Schools, to undertake a detailed appraisal of the current condition of the 1960's buildings on the Mark Erskine school campus. The on-site survey took place over the course of a couple of months, in connection
with Wallace Whittle M & E engineers and Will Rudd Davidson Structural engineers. Our study was intended to not only provide the Board with an assessment of the condition of the fabric and services of the buildings, but also some guidance as to how the existing buildings might be enhanced in both performance terms
and general style. This was a thoroughly enjoyable commission for GLM and one that particularly suited our unique combination of skills we possess in-house, of Building Surveying and Architectural expertise.
