Brief and Response
After repeated roof leaks in the top floor flat, GLM was contacted by the residents of Clarendon Crescent to carry out an inspection of the common parts with particular emphasis on the roof. It all started when the owner of the top floor flat decided to put it on the market, but realised it wouldn’t sell unless the leak was investigated and repaired.
GLM was commissioned to produce a Shared Repairs report and was then appointed by all the common owners to carry out comprehensive repairs to the roofs. After the owners approved our works proposal, we prepared a detailed scheme for the repairs in accordance with our report and discussions with the owners.
The work went out to competitive tender, a contractor was appointed and we monitored the work through to a successful completion. The clients are very happy with result and can sleep well at night knowing the roof is not leaking!
